Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Community Baptist Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Community members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Music Ministry

We are always excited about the music ministry at Community Baptist Church.  Each and every week, we “enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts,” and praise and adore the One who is worthy of all that we have to offer Him.  We pray that the CBC Choir will always be a tool that God uses to usher people into worship. We pray that the CBC Choir is more than just a group of people who love to sing….we pray that we will be a group of people who love the master and love to sing to Him!

Ushers

The usher team at Community Baptist Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and recieving the offering. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of Community Baptist. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Each Sunday, you will see announcements, worship songs, and scripture through our projection system. We also maintain an active Twitter feed for additional church communication.

Sportsman Ministry

Community Baptist Church has introduced a new ministry just for people who love the outdoors. Our goal is to bring people together that share some of the same interests in hunting, fishing, and archery. We come together in a laid back atmosphere where “folks” can just be “folks.” More times than not, in Jesus’ life he was with normal “folks” teaching and preaching the gospel, and we want to follow in his footsteps.
